Audio-Video Introduction
Be advised the videos on this site are designed to be played via broadband connection! Well, except for the one from MySpace Read on!The video below is embedded here from my MySpace account. That's why it takes a few breaths to appear! If the space below is empty... Well "Myspace" is a free Website! And their videos are stored on a Windows Server.
Now the question is, "Why is the video player square (4x3 ratio) when it's obvious that the video it's going to play isn't (it's 16x9 or widescreen)?" It should be noted just to be fair to Myspace, You Tube, etc., I removed the width and height properties from these players so you could see exactly what size your video gets turned into when you send them them to a "free" site!
I sent them a 720x480 widesreen mpeg-2 file. (that's a "tech" term for the same thing you get on a DVD when you go to your local video rental store. Just not on a DVD. No matter what you send them they will convert it to Flash Video and play it through a Shockwave-flash object. (The player thing'ee). For another example of our audio video editing, without the size properties removed...Next Page.
I also made one of my own flash video files from the same mpeg.
I suppose the old saying is true, " Ya, get what ya pay for" In this case it means more control and more say as to quality!
