DVD Authoring Introduction
Many people are misled because they buy a new computer which advertizes that it contains a DVD burner and programs that will allow them to create their own DVD's from their home movies and or vacation photos. After spending hours upon hours creating their "DVD" with all the cool transitions with balloons, flowers, scroll up, flip in, etc., etc. they finally "burn" their DVD and pop it in their home DVD player. And if it does play, it just doesn't look like the DVD's they rent from their local video store!

In short, Commercial DVD's aren't "burned" they are "pressed" and the relative cheap video editing software that comes bundled in retail computers are designed just to give you a taste of what you could do if you went out and bought commercial grade DVD Authoring Software that can cost as much as your whole computer did!
